The film adaptation of The Woman in Black, starring Daniel Radcliffe as the harried junior solicitor ‘Arthur Kipps’, has released a two minute teaser for the supernatural thriller which is due for released in UK cinemas in early 2012. Directed by James Watkins (Eden Lake and The Descent Part 2), the film is closely based on Susan Hill’s original best-selling novel and the well-known stage production which has played for 22 years in the West End. The screenplay has been written by Jane Goldman (Kick Ass, X-Men: First Class and Stardust), and judging by the trailer promises to provide all the eerie suspense you would expect from a first-rate gothic horror.
A Chilling Mystery at the Fortune Theatre
