Wet Weather Cover

The Arts Theatre recently announced a season of 4 very different plays, including Wet Weather Cover. UKTickets was exclusively invited along to meet some of the cast and creative team.

Wet Weather Cover

Wet Weather Cover tells the story of Brad, Michael Brandon (Dempsey and Makepeace & Jerry Springer The Opera), and Stuart, Steve Furst (Little Britain), two actors from very different backgrounds, one American and the other English, with supposedly very little in common. Brad and Stuart find themselves trapped together in a small leaking caravan on a film set, unable to work because of torrential rain; it’s not long before tensions mount.  Secrets will be uncovered and resolutions undone in this critically acclaimed hilarious and explosive battle of wills.

Creative Team

Oliver Cotton's new play transfers for a limited season after a sold out run at The Kings Head. Speaking about the production Cotton said “…it’s a production that is accessible to all, not just for people within the industry”. Director Kate Fahy, who originally acted at the Arts Theatre back in the mid 70s, commented how the play “is hilariously funny, I absolutely love it… the caravan fits on stage, just about”. Brandon and Furst told how they are both thrilled to be working on the play again, after starring in it at the Kings Head.

Performing at the Arts Theatre from the 6th April to the 5th June, BOOK NOW
