Catherine Johnson’s smash-hit musical has been a West End fixture since 1999. The show has gone on to become a global sensation with Mamma Mia! productions opening in more than 20 countries, including a Chinese version in the summer of 2011 when it became the first Western Musical to be translated into Mandarin.

With an uplifting mother-daughter relationship at its heart, and inspired by some of the biggest hits from Swedish pop legends ABBA, Mamma Mia! tells the sunny and funny saga of a young bride-to-be’s attempts to discover the identity of her father by inviting three men from her mother’s past back to the picturesque Greek island they last visited 20 years before.
