History:
The Manchester Opera House is located in Quay Street and plays host to touring musicals, ballet, concerts and a spectacular Christmas pantomime. Its sister venue on nearby Oxford street is the Palace Theatre.
It is a grade II listed building and it is particularly noted for hosting the 1958 European premiere of West Side Story and the British regional premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical The Phantom of the Opera with a production that opened in 1993 and ran through to 1995 which is an exceptional run for a regional production. Most recently The Manchester Opera House saw the premiere of Never Forget, the Take That musical and was also the venue where the DVD was filmed.

Circle Row A is not suitable for those under 5 foot. Gallery front row has a viewing restriction due to a safety rail.
