Tube:
The London Eye is five minutes’ walk from either Waterloo tube station to the east or Westminster to the west. Westminster is served by the Jubilee, Circle and District lines and Waterloo is served by the Jubilee, Northern, Waterloo & City and Bakerloo lines.
Train:
Kings Cross St Pancras:
From Westminster, take Jubilee line northbound and change at Green Park. Take Victoria line northbound. Estimated time 20 mins.
Euston:
From Westminster, take Jubilee line northbound and change at Green Park. Take Victoria line northbound. Estimated time 18 mins.
Marylebone:
From Waterloo, take Bakerloo Line northbound. Estimated time 30 mins.
Paddington:
From Waterloo, take Bakerloo Line northbound. Estimated time 35 mins.
Waterloo:
Waterloo mainline station is just five minutes’ walk to the east, signposted from the South Bank. A footbridge over Belvedere Road takes you straight into the main concourse.
London Bridge:
From Waterloo, take Jubilee line eastbound. Estimated time 15 mins.
Liverpool Street:
From Waterloo, take the Waterloo & City line eastbound and change at Bank. Take Central line eastbound. Estimated time 12 mins. The Waterloo and City line is not open late in the evenings or on Sundays. At these times it is better to take the Northern line northbound from Waterloo and join the Central line at Tottnham Court Road. Estimated time 25 mins.
Victoria:
From Westminster, take Jubilee line northbound and change at Green Park. Take Victoria line southbound. Estimated time 12 mins.
Bus:
The London Eye can be reached on numbers 211, 77 and 381, and is also on the Big Bus tour route.
Taxi:
Depending on where you are travelling to, you may be quicker walking than spending hours trying to hail a vacant cab once thousands of theatregoers have spilled into the London night. If a taxi is a necessity, you can always book in advance by calling one of these black cab firms:
