Alternatively, Waterloo is a pleasant 10 minute walk away. Admire the view of the London Eye, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament as you walk across Waterloo Bridge, and then enjoy a bit of music from the buskers in the subway. Whichever route you take, your estimated journey time is about 12-15 mins.
London Bridge:
From Charing Cross Mainline Station, trains to London Bridge run every 10 minutes. Estimated time 15 mins.
Liverpool Street:
From Covent Garden, take Piccadilly line northbound and change at Holborn. Take Central line eastbound. Estimated time 18 mins.
Victoria:
From Covent Garden, take Piccadilly line southbound and change at Green Park. Take Victoria line southbound. Estimated time 18 mins.
Bus:
Numbers 1, 4, 6, 9, 11, 13, 15, 23, 26, 68, 76, 77A, 168, 171, 171A, 176 and 188. Check routes before you travel.
Taxi:
Depending on where you are travelling to, it may be quicker (and cheaper) walking or taking the tube than spending hours trying to hail a vacant cab once thousands of theatregoers have spilled into the London night.
